Leaving Sat and no Air Yet

Hi all,
We leave this Sat and booked our air throught Holland. This is the first time I've booked air through the cruiseline. We did book late but still haven't gotten our air arrangements. I'm getting a little nervous. Has anyone been in this situation before and how did it turn out. Thanks for your replys.

I did speak with the agent and they have been checking with holland. Hollands latest reply was it would be done by the end of this week or latest beginning of next week. In all fairness to holland we did book just a few days ago. Did anyone out there book a cruise late, do air thru the cruiseline, what was the result. Did you get tickets at the 11th hour, how did it all turn out????

Its been a few years since I have booked air with the cruise line, but when I did, I always got my air arrangements with my cruise tickets. Let's hope your TA has some news for you today.

Since you booked so late it's not surprising that HAL hasn't provided your air info, yet. Make sure your TA stays after them. I don't think you'll need "tickets". I believe cruise lines are using e-tickets. Ask your TA to confirm this.

My mistake. Its next sat that we leave 3/12.

Plenty of time. HAL-booked air reportedly is never finalized until about two weeks out anyway. You should be fine. (But I'd be antsy too at this point!)

Since you are not leaving till the 12th I would not worry yet. I have nevered used HAL's air arrangements, but from what I have read on these boards it is quite common that it takes up till the last minute. My guess is you will hear by Tuesday and will just be faxed copies of E Tickets. Relax and enjoy starting to pack:)

I would get on them to get the flight information at least. HAL once tried to get us to fly down a day early for a cruise out of Florida and stay a day later after our cruise docked. This was probably due to the lack of seats on the prefered days. We had tried to book late also. So prepare for the worst and be pleasantly surprised.
