I was just wondering if lunch is available in the Main dining room daily? If it is, does this include embarkadation day? Thanks for your help.

Here is part of your answer, just a couple of posts down:

Generally, if in port, the MDR is not open for lunch.

Check your Explorer daily program each day to see if the dining room is open for lunch.

Based on past experience, it is closed most port days.
You will find a few ports where it is open, however.

We were invited,as guests,on the Noordam earlier this year in St.Thomas and lunch was served in the MD, but there were not many people in attendance.

You were guests on the ship while in port? If so, the lunch may have only been for invited guests. We did a similar thing on Oosterdam back in 2004.

It was just my wife and I invited on by an officer, who was an old friend. The MDR had other
passengers dining around us.We happened to be there on a Princess ship.
