a question about half moon cay

I noticed holland america has a guided walking tour on the island. Can you just wander down the trail by yourself or do you have to take the tour. I'm not much for just sitting on the beach but would like to hike around by myself. Is this possible? Anyone

Absolutely, you can walk all over, its an absolutely beautiful day at Half Moon Cay, you certainly will enjoy it.

When you go wandering off, and I think it's a great idea, keep in mind that others also do that; some in search of swimming au natural or for other reasons.....

water shoes or tennis shoes would be best, you do alot if walking in a sandy dirt
