On the Amsterdam (or equivalent ship) in the BB aft cabins--are there any undesirable things that you or your friends have experienced? Such as unusual noises, vibrations or whatever you aware of that would cause those 6 aft cabins to have a lower fare?

Nothing that I have ever found and I have been in a few BB cabins on the Veendam, the Volendam and the Zaandam. They are the same sq. footage as the B's and A's. The Amsterdam BB's are even better because you have the suites above you rather than the Lido deck and it's noise!! We grabbed one of these cabins for our Amsterdam cruise in August, 2012! :D :D

Welcome to Cruise Critic.
You can't go wrong in that cabin category.

I have stayed in BB on Rotterdam for 33 days and it was just fine.
Also this location is convinient for me regarding the MDR and Lido, and aft pool.

The main difference between the stern cabins and mid-ships -is that the bathrooms have a shower only [ no tub] except that the shower is the size of the tub! If you are a showering person [ we both are] we're delighted to NOT have to climb over a tub to take our shower! :)
