Alaska Veendam Chartered

I just saw on Olivia's website that they've chartered the Veendam May 08, 2005 - May 15, 2005 for an Alaska cruise. The cruise is not listed on HAL's website, so hopefully non-Olivia pax didn't get a chance to book.

Looks like a fantastic cruise and I so wish I could afford to go! :( Mary Chapin Carpenter is scheduled to perform, plus comedians Karen Williams, Lisa Koch, Vickie Shaw and Roxanna Ward. If you ever get a chance to see Vickie Shaw, do it. She's hysterically funny.

Anyway, just a little FYI.

I wondered about that gap in Veendam's schedule. We will be on the Veendam on the San Diego to Vancouver cruise just before that.

We will be crusing May 15th - wonder if some celebraties will do a back to back?

Olivia brings on board their own entertainment, so no, they will not be staying around for another cruise.
