I am doing a Holland America Cruise from Sydney to Hong Kong. Has anyone done a similar cruise with Holland America who has an AUSTRALIAN passport ? If so, I would like to know if you were able to get visas on board for INDONESIA (KOMODO ISLAND), CAMBODIA (SihanoukVille) and VIETNAM (Ho Chi Minh, Nha Trang and Halong Bay). I cannot get definite information from HAL and would love to know about some first hand experience. :confused:

We did a trip to Vietnam last year, and applied for the Visas through our travel agent. They cost around $80.00 each, and take about a month to be processed. It required us to submit our passports to the Vietnam embassy for endorsement. We were not on a cruise but a land based trip. I understand you need a visa for Cambodia as well. We have been to Malaysia and Hong Kong, and our Australian passports were OK, for those countries.
