ship time

Has HAL adopted using ships time instead of changing for each time zone? My DW and I were on the Allure in Jan. and it was the first cruise we took that used ships time for all the cruise, which we liked, no more time changes. I know they hadn't in 2009.

In most ports HAL changes clocks to be in sync with the ports. The only usual exception to this is Puerto Vallarta.
We also stayed on ship's time in Murmansk, but that's not a concern for most cruisers. There may be one or two other exceptions once in a while.

Geez if you were doing a TA by the time you got there, you wouldn't even know what day it was.

99.9% of the time HAL will adjust the ship's clocks to the time zone the ship is in.

Only a couple of times in all the years that we have sailed on various cruise lines have we not adjusted our clocks.
