Exotic Cruises in 2006

At a travel show today I was these cruises. A 30 day San Diego RT on Jan 6 2006. Going to 5 Hawaiian and 5 Tahitian Islands with Christmas Island inbetween on the Amsterdam. Dec 22, 2006 on the Statendam Christmas and New Year 14 day cruise from Auckland to Sydney. On the Princendam I see two interesting cruises. First is a 21 day Midnight sun cruise on July 10, 2006. No details yet on that. Then on Oct 17 2006 the Princendam will set sail from Lisbon on a 46 day cruise to Fort Laud. via Casa Blanca, Agidir, Dakar, Abidjan, Accra, Lome, Cotonou, Douala, Libreville, Namibia and then Cape Town and then on to Florida via Brazil, The amazon river and Barbados. What a trip. In Sept 2002 I took the Princendam on a West Arica cruise from Lisbon to Cape Town. It was wonderfull. Wouldn,t mind doing it again but I am on Princess this summer from Bangkok to Cape Town to Sydney. 58 days on a ship like the Princendam but much cheaper. We have a mini suite for $9200. The Princendam Africa cruise in Balcony in $13,700. BIG diffreence.

A couple of days ago we received a catalogue of the Prinsendam's cruises in 2006. They are longer and more varied than before and you are correct, they are NOT inexpensive. I found it interesting that HAL would do a multi-paged publication dedicated to the Prinsendam for 2006!:cool:

Makes you wonder if the "For Sale" sign is really out.

Those itineraries sound wonderful.

I work to support my cruise addiction, but that doesn't leave enough time to take all the cruises that tempt me! :(
Or enough money, if truth be told. ;)
