Happiness abounds in our house!

We've been going through cruise withdrawal here.:(

So....what could be the cure?

Ah, you got it!

We just booked another cruise!

After our wonderful experience on the Oosterdam, we knew it would be a HAL cruise...and LONGER than 7 days!

So it's to be the Ryndam--10 days.:)

And soon ten days won't be enough of a fix. Then it's fourteen, then it becomes...

Such an addiction!
Congrats on the new booking. So, tell us all about it.

We're sailing from our hometown, San Diego. Going to Mexico--four sea days and six ports. Great way to spend Thanksgiving! The weather is great then. I've heard so many positive things about the Ryndam. I'm excited.
Thanks for sharing the joy,Ruth.

We just loved the Ryndam! How wonderful to be able to cruise from your hometown! What a lovely way to spend Thanksgiving. P.S. Booking another cruise is essential to PCS (Post-Cruising Syndrome) :D

I'm already looking at possible bookings and school schedules for our next cruise and we don't leave on this one for 2 weeks!:D Trying like heck to avoid a cruise "hangover". Booking the next one - BEST cruise "hangover" cure!:D

That is fantastic cruznon, we too loved the Ryndam. We actually considered going back on the Ryndam but with 3 cruises booked for this year:p I have bets we will definitely book the Ryndam in fall of 2006 if she is still going out of San Diego.

I'm satisfying my addiction by throwing in a couple of 3 dayers between my big cruises. My May 5 Ryndam purpose is to help us make it through what would have been 3 no-cruise months. Oh, and it's also a nice getaway for my husband and I, without kids.

I've also booked a 3 day Celebrity Mercury in September - to get us through the July to December dry spell when nothing big is booked.

Its good to know that we are not alone in this growing addiction....it now has an official name: Post Cruise Depression Syndrome (PCDS) . At this time there appears to be only one known cure.

We're all in this together.....:)

Yup! That'll do it! You found the cure ... now you just have to think of a way to pay for your addiciton;) which, as with any addiction, you'll find you need more and more of as time goes on! Good for you. Enjoy the anticipation!

I know we are looking forward to our cruise down the Mexican coast and through the Panama Canal in October. Just having it to look forward to does wonders. We booked it just before our November cruise last year so I think that's the answer. Book before you go!!! Of course that means you're always floating about $1000 out there, but who cares!!!:D
