We are sailing on Aug 6, 05' and just found out about the Pinacle.:D It says to book early, but How Early do I need to call them and does anyone know what the charge is for this option. We are wait-listed for late seating in the regular dining room and very hopeful that an opening will be granted to us. Is it possible to book ahead more than one night at Pinacle? We don't have a suite, so we won't be priority. Thanks in advance for all your help...these boards are so helpful.

It would cost you $10 per person on the first night if you were to book in advance of your cruise and $20 per person if you were to book onboard.

How does one go about doing that? Thanks!

Thanks for the quick reply, any idea as to how far in advance we need to call to book? I know on some lines they make you wait until 60 days before sail, is it the same with Holland?

You can call ship services and reserve and pay for your Pinnacle reservations months in advance. My parents reserved the first night on the Zui, a table for 10, and they did it at least 3 months in advance. From HAL website:

Reservations may be made by calling 1-800-541-1576

You should be able to book now through Ship Services. There is nothing to lose by trying to book as soon as you know that you wish to dine in Pinnacle. It will be $10 pp on the first night; $20 pp on every other night of the cruise.

It is sooo worth it IMO Pinnacle on Zuiderdam is a very beautiful restaurant, I think. It's a delightful evening with a wonderful dinner.

I believe you can also do lunch for $10. It's not advertised.
