Take the train if you can walk a bit, maybe half a mile with your luggage. There are shuttles to the ships just inside the port gates.

Welcome to the CC. You'll find another area here for 'Roll Calls'. There, under the ones for Holland America you'll find your ship, the Noordam. Look for your sailing date. Usually others sailing with you have the same concerns about transfers and share information.

You take the Leonardo Express to Rome, about 10 euro's and then change to the regional train to Civitavecchia which takes about 1 hour and 15 minutes and costs about 4.5 euro. From the train station in Civitavecchia its about a 4 to 500 metre walk to the port entrance. HAL will have a free shuttle but service to the ship. DO not try walking to the ship!!
