First a little background...I work for a school system that has a fall break in September. My parents want to go with my dh and I on a 4 night cruise. My dad is 76 fairly good health, type 2 diabetes, but gets around great! My mom is 87 and has congestive heart failure and a bad knee. She is doing good now, no oxygen or anything, but usually in wheelchair or walking with a cane due to her knee and gets winded easily.
We are looking at Carnival Sensation to Nassau and Freeport or RCI Monarch to Nassau and CocoCay. Can you give me pros and cons to each cruise? We went on the Monarch last year so I've been to Nassau either way. How about Freeport vs a beach day on Cococay? I guess we would need a "beach" wheelchair and one of us to help her get her bbq lunch on the island, but is there much to do for her at Freeport? All suggestions and comments are welcome! Thanks!
