HMC Taupe Cabana

Can anyone tell me where the Taupe cabana is located? I was hoping to book the green cabana but it was already taken. Hopeing to find one mid ways down.

Taupe is good in that it has a paved walkway out of the cabana onto the paved area leading to the food Pavilion and bar area.

Any cabana is better than no cabana at all.

Taupe is good in that it has a paved walkway out of the cabana onto the paved area leading to the food Pavilion and bar area.

Unfortunately, the walkway also results in people attempting to traipse through the taupe cabana on their way to the beach. The one time we had a cabana (haven't since; it wasn't all that), it was the taupe, and we had to put a lounger across the entrance to the cabana via the walkway to keep people out. Certainly spoiled the exclusive feeling (as did the people who used the shower! :eek: )

When the island is busy, the closer cabanas end up doing crowd control around their cabana. We had a blue one, don't remember if it was turquoise or blue but we constantly had to ask people to move their lounge chairs which they placed directly on front of the stairs to our cabana and blocked our ability to get in and out. It took away from the peace and quiet we thought we were getting. If you can't one further down the beach, I wouldn't spend the $$. Happy Sailing!

You will be just fine with Taupe.

I certainly wouldn't cancel because of the path.
