Next April we will do the cruise with the Volendam from Sydney to Vancouver.:)
Our first US port of call is O'ahu (Hawaii), next port is Big Island. Please tell me some about immigration. Have we do this only in the first port or in every US port?? We plan a heli flight in Big Island and I want to know when we can leave the ship (will arrive at 7 AM) to go to the heli transfer.
Oh, (if this is important) we are non US residents.

Thanks for your help

Only your first port, Honolulu. You'll probably be able to get off around 7:30 if the ship is on time. Enjoy! :)

ConnyR, You should just have to go through immigration for you first stop in Hawaii. Many times the immigration officials will come aboard ship and take care of everything for you before you disembark for the day. When you get to the big island you should be able to disembark for the day as soon as the ship clears. Happy Sailing.
