Hello, again!

My DH and I are guaranteed an E cabin on the Rotterdam in October. We have been told we will get an upgrade if availible, if we don't choose a cabin now. After a lot of thought, and a lot of advice from these boards (thanks, gang!), I think I would prefer it if we picked our own cabin.

However, I am completely overwhelmed by the deck plans, and trying to figure out what room is over/under what deck! I figure we are looking for midship, we don't want feet stomping overhead if possible, and other than that I don't think we care. Can somebody help me figure my way through this? Thanks so much for any suggestions!

Take care,
Emmie

THe E cabins are Dolphin Deck and Main Deck. See the deck plan here (http://www.awcv.com/holland/europe/cruise-details.php?cref=HRO05070212&dlist=europe-cruises#) for help, but any of them should be fine. Still, if you want mid-ship then pick the Dolphin deck.

I like the Main Deck. I get a cabin to myself, so I get an inside cabin, category K. If there are any E category cabins on Main Deck, aft, I would suggest that vs. E category cabin forward.

an E midship on the Dolphin deck as Main deck is right under the Lower Promenade and that's the walking deck.

If you want midship, Dolphin is quiet with just cabins above you. No thundering herd, which really doesn't exist on HAL anyway.
