Has anyone visited the casinos in Aruba or Curacao? I think they are pretty close to port.

We've been to the one in Aruba and it's not far from the ship on the main street across from the harbor. Not much in terms of US casinos but I guess it's OK. Never been to or seen the one Curacao though we did wander around the town for a couple of hours.

Been to both, Aruba and Curacao, both are walking distance from ship, can't help you any further because we only seek them out for their clean toilets! Only saw slots on the main floor, Curacao looked a bit tired but that was a couple of years ago.

When I toured the island of Aruba I saw LOTS of casinos. I only visited the one that is walking distance from the ship. (Actually there were 2 but I only visited one.) My friends and I had a good time there and came out pretty much even. I found it to be pretty much like the casinos near my home in Washington.

There is a fairly new casino at the Renaissance in downtown Curacao which is run by the same people as the Crystal in downtown O'stad (Aruba). I was there year before last and they had just gotten up and running. They have all the table games as well as slots. The Crystal not only is within walking distance but you will see the crew and dealers there (I used to spend a ton of time in Aruba and would run into the dealers from Westerdam,etc.). They also have table games and slots. The Crystal is the only casino that is fully open in the daytime. Not sure about any other casinos in Curacao.
