Does anyone know which nights are the formal, informal, casual nights on a 7 day eastern caribbean cruise? We're on the Zaandam and I'm trying to plan wardrobes.

Also, in regards to the casino, does it have slot machines? Do you bring your own coins in there or do you have to purchase tokens?

Your two formal nights will be on your "at sea" days.
Not sure about the informal night.

Ah, but we have three 'at sea' days: Sunday, Monday and Thursday. Any guesses?

Ah, sorry. Well, Thursday will definitely be formal. Not sure about the other. Our cruises have had only two days at sea:)

Also, you have to purchase tokens for the casino.

If you sail on Saturday, then Sunday will most likely be a formal night.

You use chips for the table games, of course, but the slots take coins or bills...

Formal night is usually the 2nd night out and the evening before the last day. - if you were leaving on a Sat then, formal night would be Sunday & Thurs.

You don't have to buy tokens from the cashier in the Casino - just put a $ bill in the slot in the machine and the coins magically appear. I always carry a couple of $10s and $20's with me when I play the slots. You can't use your own coins as the slots use tokens.

We are going on the Zaandam April 2nd..... a 7 day E. Carribean cruise with 3 'at sea' days.
I was curious about the formal nights too!
