My family will be taking the August Panama Cruise. We will also be staying at Disneyland for 3 days prior to departure of the cruise. Would anyone have information on how far the port is from LAX? Is it called the Los Angeles port? Is there a trasportation company that anyone suggests? I was looking for a limo service, but any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It is called the Port of Los Angeles and is in San Pedro.

Easiest is to call Supershuttle for a lift to the port or from LAX to Disneyland. They are quick and relatively inexpensive. Very good service. I am on the May repo cruise and plan to take them from port to Tropicana, next door to Disneyland, then from Tropicana to John Wayne airport.

we'll be on the Aug repo cruise as well .. distance from DLR to San Pedro is probably about 30 miles .. without traffic I'd guess about 45 minutes, with traffic it could go anywhere from an hour to 2 hours (extreme traffic)

There is a substantial amount of information at this website for the August repositioning cruise. We will be there along with 300+ other "Fools." Take a look.
