Hi! I posted a message yesterday for my first time and made the mistake of putting it on the second page instead of the first. I got two helpful responses but still need more help. Is there anyone out there who can comment on Club HAL on the Zui? Will be on the 4.23 cruise with my two daughters 8 and 5 and my nephew 6. I haven't read too much about Club HAL and would like to know what to expect. Also I have read alot of complaints about lack of activities on the ship overall. Is this true or are there just some grumpy people out there who can't be pleased? Have cruised RCCL in 92 and 95. Both times there were gobs and gobs of activites. I have a husband who is easily bored and needs activities. Thank you so so so much!!!!:) :)

Sorry apr68 I cant comment on Zui only on The Volendam last october with 11yr old (who swore she was going to no club:rolleyes: ) she had a great time we hardly saw her on sea days, there were only around eleven kids on board and only around eight went to club and April kept them real busy, on port days it was once a day at 7 30pm till 10pm on sea days it was three times cant remember the exact times at the end of the week they took part in the lip sink show it was great, they got up to loads of things making stuff and movies, a pool party and a slumber party I would imagine its the same if not better on the ZUI. Have a great time:)

My son, 9 at the time and his best friend (8) enjoyed Club HAL. The activities are not as varied as Royal. We were on the Monarch in 99, but some fun events. The hours are not as long. The free club shuts down at 10pm (you can pay for babysitting after that) and at least a year ago was not available the first night which I found more surprising for a 7 day cruise. The staff was very friendly.
For adults, again not as many activities as Royal, but I never ran out of things to do. It was very enjoyable. Just a little more low key which is not neessarily a bad thing. Enjoy your cruise.
