Happy hour on MS Zaandam

Is there a happy hour on the ship with discounted beverages? Horsd'oeuvres? Is there a wine bar on board. I can't this information on the HAL site. Thanks.

We were on the Zaandam in April and there was a happy hour daily from 4 -5 in the Ocean Bar as well as the Crows Nest. Drinks were almost two for one. Buy one and get the second one for $1.00.

Looking forward to being back on the Zaandam next month. :D

Check your Explorer Daily Program for the times and places of the Happy Hour. The type of Happy Hour varies by ship. Rarely are there appetizers. Most of the time one of the Happy Hours is at 4 PM.

Yes -- there is a wine tasting bar -- located on the Promenade Deck across from the Wajang Theater / Culinary Arts Center. Most of the time it is not open. On a couple of ships that we have been on -- the cellar master had a very brief wine tasting at 5 PM. Some ships -- nothing.

We were offered appetizers with happy hour drinks on the last two Zaandam cruises I took in Jan. and April.

We were on the Zaandam in July and they typically had a lunchtime happy hour, a 4-5pm happy hour and a 10-11pmhappy hour.
