Teen Party on Half Moon Cay

Does anyone have any information on the Teen Party on Half Moon Cay? I was told by HAL that they only book this on the ship when there are enough teens onboard. Did your teens enjoy it or did they just get together with other teens and hang out?

Sorry Janice, don't know anything about that...just wanted to ask how excited are you? I'm already packed!!! I am however going to open up the luggage this weekend and take half of it out like everyone says to do!! And no, I NEVER pack this early for anything...I'm the person packing at 2 am the night before ;)

I hope someone has some information. It sounds like fun to me, but I am 40'ish. I haven't starting packing my suitcase yet, but I have things laid out to put in my suitcase. Unfortunately I have to iron most of my summer/spring clothes. I hate ironing and that is why they are not in my suitcase.

lol...well I hate ironing and therefore I don't iron!! You'll be able to pick me out on ship...I'll be the one wearing the wrinkled clothes ;)

Hi Janice,

We were on the 2/19 sailing of the Zaandam with my DS, age 15. there was a teen volleyball game on HMC, but no party. We had over 100 kids on the ship and a goodly number of teens. No one ever mentioned having a Teen party on HMC. They all just liked hanging out at the new Loft and Oasis for the most part. Hope that helps.

I am sure I will also be wearing wrinkled clothes by the time I unpack them, but I have to give it a shot. Clothing made out of 100% cotton needs a little help. I should take them all to the laundry and have them washed and press.

Thanks for the information. HAL mentions the teen party in the shore excursion booklet. I called and inquired about it and they said it all depends on what the teens want and that the decision is made on the ship. Sounds like the Loft and Oasis are a hit.

We fly in the day before, and I'm gonna head to a Wal-Mart or grocery store and hunt for that Downy Wrinkle Release stuff I've read about on these boards...figured it was worth a try:)
