unable to do a search so if this has already been answered i cannot find it. does anyone know joel masons schedule for the fall2011-spring2012 on holland america ships??

If your talking about the Elton John, guitar playing, piano playing comedian, he's currently on WESTERDAM. He's one funny dude.

yes. hes the fantastic one. saw him on the westerdam a while ago. is he staying with the westerdam or changing ships, if you know? getting ready to book a cruise soon and would like to see him again.

Not sure if he's staying or not. We got off WESTERDAM just last Saturday and loved the "extra" show he did in conjuction with the Cruise Director on Thursday just prior to disembarkation. Very funny. Apparently CC search feature is working again. There was a thread just a couple of weeks ago about Joel. May want to check it out.

i have seen him but still cant find info on which ship he will be on fall2011-winter2111-2012. sooooo... where is he after the summer in alaska is over?

We have also been fortunate enough to see him a few times...the Westerdam and Zuiderdam I think, would also like to know his fall/winter schedule.

We will be seeing him on the Westerdam in a couple of weeks. I will ask him what his fall schedule is if I get a chance. He is an awesome entertainer!

Joel will be on the Westerdam for the next three sailings, then will take some well deserved time off. He will then be on and off the Oosterdam thru the end of the year. He should be joining the Oosterdam on October 22nd.

Darn, looks like we will miss him just by a few days on our Westerdam cruise. Okay Lisa how about the 7th of January on the Oosterdam? Are we going to luck out or miss him again?

I hate to say it but I think you will miss him again :( but let me see if I can find out more or some exact dates. But I could be wrong.:o

OK, so who's replacing J. Mason on the Westerdam? I've lucked out and seen him twice; once as Elton and once Eagles show. Really great!

Little bit of an update. Joel will be on the October 8th Mexico sailing on the Oosterdam for one week, then will leave and I believe will meet up with the Oosterdam when she is in Hawaii October 26th then stay on thru the end of the year.
For those interested in James Cielen, he has been on the Zuiderdam for Alaska, he will be heading to the Eurodam in the Caribbean:)
