My husband and I will be taking the May 2012 Baltic Cruise. Before the cruise we will be spending a few nights in Amsterdam. Does anyone know of a wine store where we can purchase wine to bring on the Eurodam. Thank you for your help.

Cave Rokin is a wine and liquor store located in a basement in central Amsterdam at 60 Rokin. It's not too far from Centraal Station

Just off the Rotterdam last Friday.
There is a wine merchant "Jan van Breda" right across the Maas from the Hotel New York. You'd need to take the water taxi across -- or walk / tram across the Erasmus Bridge.
If you aren't picky, Albert Heijn has your typical grocery store selections of wine. Closest store to you is about a 10-12 minute walk from the hotel on Vuurplaat. Alternately, you can catch the 20, 23 or 25 trams from Wilhelminaplein at the end of the bridge.

In case you arenot too tired upon arrival at Amsterdam airport, you will find a supermarket with wines etc. right in the shoppingcentre in the hall after you picked up your luggage.
At the Amsterdam Centraalstation there is a small AH to go with a small selection of wines.
At the back of the Royal Palace you will see Magna Plaza with a large AH store.

You will have a much more difficult time finding wine in Scandanavia!! In Finland, Norway, and Sweden it is sold in "special" stores. Russia is the same, if memory serves me.

Thank you for the help. Any thoughts of wine stores near the port in Tallin?
