We have 2 questions about this card (spend $90 get $100). Can the card be used to purchase a bottle of wine for example. Second, can the card be used by both passengers? For example, I go for a latte and then give the card to my husband and he buys a glass of wine. Thanks. It looks like a good deal for an 11 day cruise.

Yes -- we were able to buy bottles of wine in the dining room and the Pinnacle -- or anywhere on the ship.

Yes -- one card for both of you. Yopu don't have to pass the card back and forth.

We both order at the same time -- wine steward takes off both drinks at the same time - along with the 15% service charge.

I think it's smarter to buy two $50 cards for $45 each than one $100 card. Three reasons: first you can each carry one and don't have to always be the same place to both get drinks.

Second, if you lose one there's less money lost.

Third, unless you use up at least the purchase price you get no savings. They're really "buy 90% at full price, get the last 10% free". If you were to use up $90 of a $100 card you would get no refund and would have saved nothing, but if you use up $50 on one card and $40 of the second you would get $5 back on the second card.

The joy of these cards is you can use them for a bottle of wine or a drink.

We have a 20 day cruise so we have no worries using a couple between the two of us.

the only thing is = if you like to drink soda, the soda card is a much better deal. (we really drink pop and for the little we do, a soda card doesn't make it) . In any case, it's a great card as long as you will use the whole thing for your cruise. :)
