:) Finally, some good news after all those complaints about the photo CD sold on the Insignia 12/17/04 cruise in South America. Yesterday, I received a replacement CD by FedEx. The new CD contains all the same photographer's photos, but in jpg format (still at low resolution, however), so they can be copied into your own photo collection. There's a separate folder on the disk with the same set of photos incorporated into a PowerPoint slide-show.
No apology, or even a form letter, came with the replacement CD, but at least it seems that Oceania listened to the complaints and eventually took action. Next time, I'll be much more careful to check out the content and format of any photo CD offered for sale on a cruise ship.
