Been scrolling through the boards to find any info on soft drinks during the cruise. No luck. What types of drinks are available without cost other than during the meals? I know some ships sell a drink mug. Do I understand right that a 15% gratuity is included on all bar drinks? I've also raed about hot chocolate being served on deck. Is that without charge? We will be on the Veendam July 17 for the 7-day glacier discovery cruise.

We were on the Oosterdam last August. Soda drinks (coke, sprite, etc.) was available for purchase at the bar. Seems like it was over $1. a can. At the first port stop, Juneau, we bought a twelve pack of diet cokes and brought back on the ship. There were no soda cards available for purchase on the cruise (not sure why).

They do have fruit juice, iced tea, and coffee for no charge at the Lido and I ordered Iced Tea in the dining room. I think they charge for cokes in the dining room also.

They served complimentary hot chocolate out on deck when we were at Mendenhall Glacier (along with pea soup). Also, hot chocolate is available in the lido all the time.
