Does anyone know why 6052 and 6117 on Zuiderdam are category SZ when the neighboring rooms are SY? From the deck plan it looks to be slightly larger than the neighboring SY cabins, although oddly shaped.

I don't know the answer, but I'm glad these cabins are slightly cheaper. We'll be in a SZ on our Zuiderdam cruise this November. We were offered an upgrade to an SY when the SZ price dropped, but we passed.
Somebody here has a picture, and the SZ cabins look good sized.

They are both bump or hump cabins. SZ6052 would be less windy because the part of the veranda that is farther out is toward the front and will block the wind. SZ6117's verandah will be party windy due to the fact that part of the veranda is at an angle to the front of the ship and therefore will pick up a bit more sea breeze than usual.
Either cabin's veranda allows for both an outward view and a down-the-side-of-the-ship view. That is great for site-seeing, but you may lose a bit of privacy.
