New to HAL sailing with our children 12 & 8 this summer any tips about the ship would be appreciated.

On formal nights for our son would a nice long sleeved shirt with matching tie and a vest with matching black pants be okay? Husband will wearing his black suit.

While at Half Moon Cay does HAL kids club offer kids group activities or will they be with us the whole time (not a problem just asking)?

Any tips that would make our trip more enjoyable would be appreciated.

Natmar....Sounds like the same outfit our 7yr son wore last year on the Zaandam. He looked and felt sharp. When is your cruise??

We are traveling on the July 30th sailing. I'm glad to hear he will fit in. I just hate the thought of buying him a suit that he will out grow in a matter of months at the rate he is growing now.

Your son will be perfectly fine dressed that way for formal nights.

There are plenty of activities for the children on Half Moon Cay. There is a treasure hunt which my nieces and nephews loved. Go to the HAL web site, find your cruise and click on Half Moon Cay, it will show you all that is offered there.
