Can any of my cc friends:) who have sailed on the Zuid recommend a place for a sailaway for our little CC group going on 3-19?:D

No doubt in my mind: the Crow's Nest is a perfect spot for a sailaway party. If the weather is good, it is easy and quick to get out onto an open deck from the Crow's Nest. If the weather is inclement, one has plenty of windows to watch the departure with the bonus of comfortable seating as well.

Have a wonderful voyage on a fine vessel!

We prefer the Lido for the sailaway unless the weather is bad. Its always very festive and of course its fun to wave to all of the condo dwellers going out the channel. Crows Nest would be our second choice unless your group is too large.
Either way, have fun and happy cruisin on our favorite lady of the sea..the Z :D

Just outside the Crow's Nest on the Observation Deck - protection from the sun & wind (if needed), views to port, starboard and forward and drinks readily available. What more could anyone want? :)

The prominade deck on the port side would be cool too. LOTS of people with flags, noisemakers etc. We watched it from a balcony. It was super cool.
