Yesterday, we took a drive to Portland, Maine from Southern NH. The foliage was much nicer in the Portland area along I95 and I295 into downtown, than in NH. The Boston Globe had a report about the poor muted colors this year. There is still time for this scene to change as the Peak seems to be delayed a week or more.

Really good color right now in southern Maine, should peak soon. White Mtn's are still a couple weeks away.
