I work at an animal shelter and my co-worker told me to be sure to go to one of the bars in Key West that caters to man's best friend. I can't remember the name of it...anyone know and anyone been there? Is it an okay place to eat lunch? What do they serve?
Thanks for the help,

Almost all bars with outdoor seating allow dogs - Schooner Wharf, Conch Republic, Half Shell Raw Bar, Dantes, Pier House, etc.

I don't know if it still exists, but there was a website for dog lovers with a guide to Key West. I'm almost certain Schooner Wharf was the bar they identified as being the most dog friendly.

Pepe's Cafe, founded 1909--the Keys' oldest restuarant-- is very welcoming to dogs. It is not a bar, however, in the sense of Sloppy Joe's or Hog's Breath, for example. Pepe's Cafe is a dining establishment. It is located at 806 Caroline Street.
There is also small dog beach beside Louie's Backyard restaurant on Waddell Street.
