Hotels in Istanbul

We are taking the Istanbul to Athens cruise in Oct and will be spending a few days in Istanbul. Has anyone suggestions for a nice hotel and possibly a guide

The Uyan Hotel was wonderful! Beautiful roof garden with wonderful overlook of both the Aya Sophia and the Blue Mosque. Right in the middle of everything and very nice neighborhood.
