I did a search on this topic and got conflicting results.

Does anyone one know if Dutch night is gone or just not advertised any longer. In the past we have enjoyed Dutch night, but we are hoping to do the Pinnacle Grill at least once and thought this might be the best night to go.

So if it's still around does anyone know which night the Zuiderdam has this menu choice.

Also any info on pre-booking the Pinnacle would be great. If you can't pre-book I know you need to do it ASAP after getting on board.

Thanks in advance!!!

The boys are going Tux shopping today in prep for out departure in 13 days....

You can call 1-800-541-1576 (HAL) for reservations. They will charge it to your credit card.

We had Dutch Night on our January Veendam cruise and enjoyed it, as we always have.

I think the days of the black caps for men and the Dutch hats for women are gone. I think that most ships still offer a Dutch Type meal--if you like it--but they don't call it a "Dutch Nite" per se but it is. Make sense?

No Dutch Night on the Zuiderdam in October. We had an international night that included a few Dutch selections as well as a few Indonesian dishes. There were no hats or chocolate tulips.

My parents arrived back from the Volendam on Thursday and one of their first "announcements" was that there was NO dutch night.

We had it in Nov on our 28 day Amazon cruise on the Prinsendam (Hats and All). Maybe they now just have it on the longer cruises. Penny

We were on the Maasdam last week and, indeed, received our little black and white Dutch hats. Don't know exactly what I will do with them, but it was kind of fun to eat the Dutch dinner while donning our hats.

Last month's Westerdam cruise did not feature Dutch Night. Bami Goreng was offered one evening, however.

One of the Maitre D's informed me Dutch night is to become a thing of the past. :D :D

Just got back from a cruise on the Oosterdam . This was our 5th HAL cruise and you're right, the Dutch night is no more. I asked our waiter and he said, "No One liked it". Being dutch I was somewhat insulted. Although when you think of it, what kind of foods are the Dutch really known for anyway? Pancakes and Croquets.
