Hi, we are booked on the Ryndam on the Mexican Riviera & Sea of Cortez Cruise April 15. Our documents just say that we have 3 formal nights. Does anyone know which nights these would be?

TIA!

ALEX and NESSA,

We are also sailing on the RYNDAM APRIL 15 and to answer your question i am pretty sure the formal nights are the second night out and the second to the last night, as far as the third i don't know but if i had to quess it would be on a open sea day.

You could call HAL and ask them they should be able to answer your questions.

I will be going on the Ryndam in November for thanksgiving, and we also have been wondering which nights are formal. Now that you have all been on the cruise, thought I'd post since I noticed you have all now returned from your trips. Hope you had a great time, I know we can't wait til november.

Hi there. We had a **great** time! Our formal nights were the second night (at sea), on the night of our half day stop to Zihuatanejo/Ixtapa, and on the second-to-last night, the day of our short stop to Cabo San Lucas.

I can tell you that the first and last formal nights were much more formal than the middle one. There were more cocktail dresses/pants suits for the women and more suits (as opposed to tuxes) for the men on the second formal night. The first and last formal nights were more formal with gowns and tuxes being the prevalent dress.

Happy cruising!
