Does anyone know when the various ships are being updated? We loved the "new" Ryndam...when are the other ships being done??????

I believe ROTTERDAM is next up for the SOE enhancements. As I recall, she is being drydocked from the end of this month through the beginning of April.
HAL have this info on their web site, which seems to be down at the moment. Once I can access their site, I will post a link to the page which says when each ship will be getting the SOE enhancements.

The dates were given in a thread a while back. A search on SOE DATES brings up:

OK, HAL's site is back up... The official Signature of Excellence schedule can be found here (http://www.hollandamerica.com/pdfs/SOE_update.pdf).
Looks like ROTTERDAM and STATENDAM will be getting their enhancements in time for the summer season.

appreciate the link to the SOE info.....the Exploration Cafe/library is really a great enhancement. Might even pick a ship based on whether the SOE was done.

I'm kinda bummed that the Westerdam isn't going to have the flat screen TVs and the DVD players. :(

hehehehe ... I'm an inside-cabin guy ... I don't have a Verandah lounge on, so I lounge in lounges all over the ship.
Still, it'd be nice to have a flat screen and DVD player. :)
No frown here ... not really ... except for the fact that it's 7.5 months before I next board a dam ship.

Forgive me for thinking this ... but I wonder how tempting it will be for some folks to "accidentally" pack one of those flat screens in their luggage?

I was looking at the MS Amsterdam site (since I've booked an Alaska cruise in August)...and the suites look like they have the new, redecorated look. I hope this is true since those purple sofas in the old pictures scared me.
What exactly is the SOE upgrade? I was just happy that they seemed to have re-done the color schemes in the cabins...the old one was horrid.
Thanks.

7.5 months! That's a real bummer. Put the frown back.
I just today made the final payment for our European Capitals Cruise on RVI this June- Heh, Heh, Heh.:p

Naw, they'll probably go fast. I'll be busy for most of it. :)
And ... frankly ... it was only a little over a month ago that I got off the Oosterdam. I'm ok.
Still ... I'd love to get on a ship this summer.
