Can anyone give me information about Cabin 6165 on the Oosterdam. It is described as Category "VA", balcony cabin located directly on the stern on Upper Verandah deck. It is not a suite, although it is adjacent to one.
I am especially interested in how large the balcony is, and what furniture, if any, will be present on the balcony. Is there room to have breakfast on the balcony?
This will be our first HAL experience after many with Princess, Celebrity, and others. I found what appeared to be a really good deal on a balcony cabin to Mexico in October and am very much looking forward to it.
Thanks for any information you can provide.

We are sailing on the "O" on 4/16. I had considered this cabin but ultimately decided on 5185 instead. I have dug up a few pictures from other discussions on this board so here you go.
You can clearly see the verandah on 6164 and 6165 because they are the "thinner" balconies between the larger suite balconies.
We will be one deck lower and beside the corner suite on this side of the ship.

The baconies back here are deeper than the ones on the sides onf the ship. Much roomier balcony and the view is marvelous!

I really appreciate all of you who took the time to respond to my question. It appears that the balcony is better than I expected. I was afraid it would be one of the narrow ones like I've had on Princess, with room only to stand.
SRPILO, I tried to access your e-mail address in your profile, but received a message that you had chosen to not receive e-mail. I would like to see the picture if it is available.
Thanks again!

ccflyer,
I found a picture of aft balconies that give you an idea of the width and depth of these great balconies! Hope this is helpful.
