I'm interested to know how one goes about pre-renting a cabana on HMC and what the cost might be?

They sure do! I wanted to book one for my Dec 5th cruise, but they are not listed as an option, so they must be gone. I have been gone all week, so I missed the posting of them, I guess.

Thanks, Steve. I will give them a call to doublecheck. They did have the clamshells listed available, so I was thinking if the cabanas were available, they would be listed too, but perhaps (hopefully) I am wrong :).

No, Dont wait. We sail on August 27 on the Zuiderdam and we booked ours already by calling HAL. She told me very few were left. So book quickly, Just Remember u have to pay with a credit card when you book, no later onboard

We were not interested in the cabanas-want to soak up the sun! But the clamshells-do you need to book them in advance too? How much are they?

Just about 10 minutes ago I booked a shore excursion on-line through HAL website.
Also, I highly suggest that you pre-reserve the clamshell ahead of time as they do get sold out. $9 for a clamshell that will hold two loungers.

The cabanas for the July cruises just became available online. I booked the Turquoise for July 31st visit to HMC. From your countdown clock, it looks like we're on the same cruise.
