I Love Cruise Critics

I love Cruise Critics and I love this bulletin board. But who are they and why do they bother to do this for us?

I agree that Cruise Critic is great.

I'm sure someone else will have a much better answer for you, but CC is not doing this "for us". I believe their revenue is generated from advertisers for everything to do with cruise travel....cruiselines, agents, etc.

The result is a tremendous number of cruisers, agents and others who come to these boards and have the opportunity to share in all sort of ideas, cruise information, reviews, and the joy of cruising.

I have been enjoying CC since 1995 when it was only on AOL. But I really got involved early last summer when we booked a HAL cruise and I started "getting to know" a lot of people particularly on these boards.

On a personal note, Lane posted that it looks like you can join us on our 10/06 Eastern Caribbean cruise! I hope that's true:D ... I think it's going to be amazing.

I wish that I had known about CC before my previous cruises. I would have made better choices on my excursions and cabin selections.:(
