I know that several people are posting but we just wanted everyone to know that things could not better than they are in our opinion. We are long time Radisson/Regent cruisers and we think everything shipboard is in fine form. We worry from time to time about changes making our favorit line disappear but from what we have experienced so far we have nothing to worry about.

The personnel on board can not do enough for you. Yes, our wonderful cabin attendant called us by name by the second day in our lowly G cabin( which is in a wonderful location!). The wine people always offer to find you another selection if you prefer. Destinations serices is very patient as we keep showing up with requests and needs because of changes. Connie, the executive concierge booked us an extra night in Jerusalem.

Food has been great in Compass Rose and La Veranda (great pasta and clams yesterday). Today's Greek Buffet poolside was very tasty with wonderful service by the bar and food staff. Shel finished lunch with Ouzo over his Vanilla ice cream.

I wont be posting much as life is too good to spend time at the computer but I wanted to let people know that things onboard are great. We now have 2 furture Regent cruises booked.

Hi Ann & Shel,

Wonderful to hear you're having a terrific time on board. Ida and I will miss sharing the oldest Synagogue in Greece with you tomorrow. Do hope you get a chance to post information about your many excursion details. Our friends who are also on board with you, also are having a wonderful time on board (we all would have had dinner in Prime 7 the first night on board, if we did not cancel this voyage; btw did u go to Prime 7 the first night on board?) Our friends said their Malta excursion, M'dina, Mosta and Shopping went very well. Look forward to hearing more if you have time to post...besides Bali to Auckland next December, what other cruise did y'all book.

Ouzo over ice cream--I have never heard of that before, but it sounds like it could be very good.
Glad to hear things are going well.

Hi,

Glad to hear things are going so well. I agree about not wasting too much time in the computer! By the way, could you tell me if they fixed the problem of the horrible smoke smell in the Computer room?

Hi Ann -- just want to beg you (nicely;)) to join our thread. We really need differences of opinion. That is what makes CC so valuable to readers. Tonight everything was great in CR. But, IMO, the Greek buffet poolside was lacking -- wish I knew about Ouzo over vanilla ice cream -- sounds wonderful.

I am notoriously bad at calling people but want to have dinner with you two like we discussed. If we don't do it before Sunday, we'll have to wait a while. So, how about Saturday night? I'll also send you an email. Will also let you know when we are planning the cocktail party in our suite.

The service on the ship is almost too perfect (not a complaint). I did speak with the GM and Captain this morning and told them how well things are going. Also let them know that the problems onboard with excursions were not caused by the staff onboard -- rather, it was miscommunication between corporate and Customer Service. Communication remains a low point for Regent (corporate only). And, from what I've read on CC, their new ad agency should join Park West and find another cruise line to work with.

Oh well, one can never say that I don't speak my mind.

Um.... but TC, that's what I love the most about your posts! Hope you all keep them going, please. :D You're going to a part of the Med we haven't been to, so following this thread religiously.

They really should do something about that. When I first asked about it they reacted like they had no clue what I was talking about.
