View Full Version : Zuiderdam VA 8111 ?

I am so worried about this cabin ..... has anyone recently had this cabin ?

Were there any A/C problems or anything else I should know about ....

I get severe migraines if the A/C is poor ....

We were told that this was an upgrade from VH is that true?

Yes :). Having booked the lowest (least expensive) balcony category, you received a cabin in the highest balcony category. Have a great time! :D

Had a similar cabin last year on Noordam. Under Lido deck so you MAY hear occasional chair movement, but I do not recall actually hearing a thing. Nice balcony, great view so would go there again. Air conditioning issues are in the hands of the gods - but we've been on a dozen and never had an AC issue. Relax and enjoy.

I haven't been on the Zuiderdam, but soon will be, so I did a lot of research with all the postings and reviews that spoke of the "AC" not working.

It looks like your cabin is near the aft elevators. The cabins that were having the consistent Air Conditioner problems were the ones that were the very back "Aft Balcony" cabins.

You shouldn't have any problems.

Thank you so much for your reply ......

We are going on the Zuiderdam on Dec. 16 ..... Panama Canal.

I too have been trying to keep track of the cabins with A/C problems
but can't find the small notebook I wrote the cabins in !

Have a great time in March ....

We had this cabin on our Nov. 4th Panama Canal sailing. It was a great cabin! The AC worked fine. It is a great location, very close to the elevators. You are below the Sea View bar near the aft pool, so you won't hear the moving chair as if you were below the pool area.
