Has anyone used bags to go or one of the other baggage storage services in Ft. Lauderdale post cruise? If so, can you provide me any details on how the service worked, where you dropped and picked up bags, etc and also if you were pleased with the service? We are flying JetBlue and there appears to be a bag service that partners with both the airline and several cruise lines which permits you to actually check in for your flight on the ship the day before disembarkation. However, RSSC is not one of those cruise lines. Just trying to ditch the bags for a few hours so we can go play before our late afternoon flight.
Thanks!

No experience with the bag storage services you mention, but if it's just a few hours between disembarkation and your flight home, you might consider a method we used recently. We just headed back to the hotel where we had stayed the night before embarking on the cruise and asked the bell captain to hold our bags for the day, which they were happy to do for a reasonable gratuity.

Great idea and I am sure it would work at any good hotel. There is a hilton, hyatt and an embassy suites just outside the port towards fort lauderdale and if you are going to the beach there is every hotel brand there.

Heck, I've even checked bags at a hotel I *didn't* stay in, with no questions asked, and no charge. (Raffles in Singapore.) Maybe they know that that is likely to bring me back. OR, perhaps that's just what they do -- make everybody happy, so long as it's no skin off their noses.
It certainly made an impression!
