Those that follow these Sail Away threads may enjoy http://www.marinetraffic.com. This site tracks the current position of ships and can generate (when properly set up) email notifications when ships enter/leave port. Users must register (for free) and then can populate My Fleet with ships of interest. This is a fun way to track the activity of ships and anticipate future travels!
