HAL at Cozumel

Does anyone know which pier HAL ships use at COZUMEL? Specifically VEENDAM the past few weeks?

They usually go into the new pier at the far end of Town. It is a nice pier and there are many shops right there. You have to go through this dockside Mall to get to the taxi cabs that will take you to downtown.

We were just there on Friday and we were at the one near Downtown which was really great. It seems nice new modern and lots of shops right at the end of the pier with an overhead walkway to cross the street. At the end of the overhead walkway it takes you to Carlos and Charlies and Senior Frogs. It is close to all the shopping. In 2001 we had to dock at the other one which is so far away and you really need to take a taxi. I don't think HAL is assigned to a particular pier it is just the luck of the draw.

Agree with the previous poster...it is the luck of the draw.

When we were in Cozumel, 9 cruise ships were there with us! Downtown was unmanageable!

No way of knowing in advance where Veendam will dock. We have been at the International Terminal a number of times; Laguna is our favorite.

We have also had to tender when there are many ships in Cozumel.
That was not great!!
