Hey, all,
My sister and brother-in-law bought the tickets for themselves, as well as  my mom, dad, and I for the April 10th Westerdam cruise as Christmas presents. I was going to ship them an "Easter basket" of goodies useful for the cruise. They've gone all over the world, but this is a first cruise for all of us. Here's what I'm thinking, so far...I've already got the scrap book stuff, I'm going to be making a scrap book on board, and give it to them the last night, so they won't need a photo album or anything....
Suntan lotion
beach safe
underwater disposable camera
But after that, I'm drawing a blank. Any ideas? I want to send it out Thursday. Thanks!

What a thoughtful family you have! What about lanyards (or the clip on your belt things - correct name escapes me) for their sea pass cards, post it notes for leaving each other notes on cabin doors, hand sanitizer, maybe a cruising magazine or cruise themed novel for reading on plane or on deck? If you are a scrapbooker, maybe you can make a creative door sign for their cabin door. Just a few thoughts....I'm sure there are lots more and better ideas & that you will get many other suggestions! Have a wonderful time!

And sorry about the double "confused" face, I'm actually happy that we're all getting to go!

What about putting all the goodies in a Beach bag filled w/ grass instead of a easter basket. My mother loves putting Easter stuff in a non-Basket item. I once got an Easter gift filled in a Playmate cooler cause I needed one of those.

One of the over-the-door shoe organizers! It's great at keeping things like hairspray, curling irons, deoderant, ect.. organized. Perfect travel companion.
Also, small bottle of downey wrinkle releaser and a plug-in air freshner.
They should like that in the cabin :).

I knew you'd get some better ideas than mine, but I thought of a couple more anyway. I agree with the air freshener, but rather than the plug in kind, I buy one of the gel discs. There's no place to plug it in in the bathroom (which is where I find it is most needed) & you can pack it back in a ziplock & save it for the next trip. You could also pick up some of the travel size toiletries & other travel related items at Target/Wal-Mart. How about some Bonine for possible seasickness? Or maybe make up a small "travel" first aid kit? I love the beach bag or collapsable cooler idea! Oh, and a bottle of Aloe in case of too much sun...personal experience here. I might chime back in if I think of more...

I love the idea of a collapsing cooler filled with easter "grass" -- that's just so neat! I'm going to build the thing tonight so I can ship it tomorrow morning. If I can find my camera, I'll take a picture and post it! As a gag gift, I'd love to give my brother in law a "toddler leash" for my sister, since she's loved to wander away since she was, well, a toddler...
