a group of us are going and someone said the pools were sea water and not heated. I'm pretty sure that when I was on the Oosterdamn last time the pool was heated.

Just off the Oosterdam (Dec 10-24), and they showed the temperature on the information T.V. channel......
86 degrees every day.

I've sailed twice on the Oosterdam and twice on the Amsterdam (as recently as this past August). All four times, yes the pools were heated - both indoor and outdoor.

In all of our HAL cruises, yes, the pools are heated. :p

86 is good. My minimum temp - 90 is even better. I am a fair weather friend of swimming pools. Thanks for this info. Never tried it yet.

What are the opening and closing times for HAL pools? I would like to take an early morning swim while most folks are still asleep!:D
