While Silversea introduced subdivisions into the verandah/midship categories for the Shadow/Whisper and Spirit, a cursory look shows that the fares for 2013 have not substantially increased compared to 2012. While some voyages might have increased, others might actually have slightly decreased.
The market has been difficult, the economic tsunami has no end in sight, and may be getting worse down the road. While some cruise lines may be inventive in increasing fares in one form or another, Silversea does not seem to have done so on an overall and substantial basis. For those of you still lucky enough to afford cruises, good luck!
