Recipe request: Derby Soup

Yes, I know you can ask when you're there, but it was just today (2 plus weeks after we left the ship) that my hubby mentioned he ADORED this soup and needed the recipe.

The official description of Derby Soup: "a creamy chicken soup filled with rice and chicken dumplings, topped off with finely sliced leek."

He says it was ....creamy chicken (not dumplings), rice, curry and it was kinda green....

So has he lost his mind ?

Interesting - I just looked at our menus from our 21 days on the Noordam and didn't see a soup listed by that name.

I cannot find an Chicken soup with Dumplings in my HAL Recipes files or cook book from HAL, and nothing that resembles it:(

I have no memory of ever seeing it on a menu but it isn't something I would order so I well could have skimmed by it and it never 'registered' in my memory bank.

Hope you find the recipe so you can surprise your DH. :)
