I was wondering how many kids there could be, on the Oosterdam while shes at Alaska, during July? Sorry if this has been answered a bunch of times before

Can't predict.

One week you may have 100 children on board and the next week you might only have 10.

Call HAL at 800-541-1576. They've been known to tell people how many kids are on a sailing.

Summer = vacation = can be a lot. (We are taking our 3.5 year old to Alaska in June.)

One week cruise? Plenty of kids. 2 week cruise? Not nearly as many, but in summer, there will still be plenty.

Regardless the amount, 5 or 500, it should be a great time!

We had 54 on our Oosterdam cruise, but that was in May before the schools were out. This past week, we had 270 kids on the New Year's Eve cruise. My best guess would be 200-300. There will be a decent number of children, but I don't think it will be as overwhelming as you might find on other lines.

Half of the kids on our cruise were in the teen group.

We've cruised Alaska twice during the summer and while there are children aboard, they are generally not as many as on a Caribbean cruise-simply because of the cost of an Alaskan cruise is A LOT more than a Caribbean cruise.
