Hello,

In two weeks I am departing on the Eurodam for the first time! I only drink coffee, ice tea and water. Will I need to pay for these beverages? Or are they included? I think I read somewhere about ice tea and water being available for no charge.....I could be mistaken. Just trying to figure out if I should prepay for a beverage card.

Thanks so much!

Ann

p.s. how they get the vibration issue fixed....but I will just think of it as the old "magic fingers" machine they use to have in Motel 6!

Coffee, iced tea and water are all complimentary. There is a charge for bottled water. The water on the ship is safe to drink and there is cold water in the Lido. enjoy your cruise:):D:)

Ann:

Coffee, iced tea and water are available at no charge in the dining rooms and Lido. I also drink the tap water in the cabin. Also, at dinner in the main dining room (MDR) you can order espresso and cappuccino at no extra charge. You'd need a beverage card for sodas and specialty coffees in the Explorer's Cafe. Beverage cards may be purchased onboard at any time.

Don't know about the "vibration" issue. I sailed on the Eurodam in 2010 in an aft verandah cabin and don't remember any problems.

Regular Coffee, water and both hot and ice tea are free. The ice tea is a liquid mix out of a dispenser. For the hot tea they have the house brand HAL black and also a chest with various flavors of tea - mostly Bigelow. I am a big tea drinker and like both the ice and hot selections. My only dislike is the glasses and tea cups are too small for me;) I usually bring my own large insulated cup.:D

Packets of cocoa are also available in Lido at no extra charge. If you don't see them, ask.

Also, at breakfast there is a large selection of various juices including fresh squeezed orange juice in Lido at no additional charge.

Have a great cruise. :)

Thanks for all the quick responses! In general, how much are the specialty coffees? Like an Americano? Or Espresso? And thanks for the great idea about an insulated cup...I am going to bring my insulated water bottle. Can't wait! :)

There is a charge for bottled water. Don't waste your money. The ships water is just as good if not better.

The iced tea available on board is unsweetened -which is great for diabetics like me. Various kinds of sugars and sugar free sweeteners are available for those who want to add them.

I don't drink as much tea any more as I used to.

But when I do -- I make my own. Select the tea flavor that I want -- brew in hot water -- pour over ice.
