Today the MS Noordam will sail out of Port Everglades at approx. 4:30-5:00 PM Eastern time.

According to Port Everglades Web Cam Face Book page; yesterday, was a record viewing day and they maxed out their bandwidth and more bandwidth will be added. They did warn about taking multiple picture snaps and that violators will be removed from their Facebook page. Not being a techie I'm really not sure what that means.

So if you have the time drop in and join us for Sail-Away. It's DW's birthday so my involvement may be limited.

Have a great week.

I'll try to be here.

So people are taking pictures of the ships that leave -- not me.

I don't even belong to Facebook.

Have a great time celebrating your DW's birthday.

Exceeding their bandwidth does explain why a couple of our CC members reported yesterday that the picture froze. I think I saw something yesterday that at one time there was around 2,900 + viewing.

My DH computer froze a lot yesterday and his computer never does. His computer is new and has all the right programs and capabilities for video, etc. I have the same problem of freezing but my computer is older, has some typical aging problems and less capauilities for video. It will be interesting if they add more bandwidth if it will help that problem.
We'll be watching from a very wet Southern California today and a happy birthday to your DW.

Thank you all, for my Sue's birthday wishes. She has been enjoying celebrating her 59th birthday for two years now.:D In lite of this special occasion, in addition to the dozen long stem roses I'm going over the top and taking her to Sonics for a chili dog and limeaid or was it Bonefish Grill?

Thanks Josie. Sue is a retired full Colonel so she really does out rank me! For those raising their eyebrows about officer/enlisted we met and married after my retirement. Sounds like the Noordam is ready to go.
